Keep Your Pets Cool in Your Broadbeach Property

Anyone who lives in Gold Coast real estate is aware that summer here can get really hot.

While it's easy for us humans to take a stroll to the beach to cool off, what about your precious pets?

One tip to keep dogs cool in the warm weather is to exercise them early in the morning or late at night when the temperature is low. If you live close enough to the beach, reward them after their walk with a dip in the ocean!

Make sure there are plenty of cool, shady spots for pets to recline around your home. Whether you plant extra trees or put down a pet mat underneath a shade cloth or beach umbrella, it's important that animals have somewhere cool to avoid the sun.

Also consider placing extra water dishes around your property so your beloved animals are never left searching for fluid. You can help keep this cool by semi-freezing it overnight, or placing ice cubes in the dish throughout the day.

If you have a sprinkler that is allowed to be used through the water restricted season let your animals frolic under the water spray throughout the day for a quick a fun way to cool down!
