Magic Millions auction to excite Gold Coast property holders

It's the Gold Coast – you can guess what's going to be on offer, right? It's Australia's famed place of sun and sand – it must be something involving its 57km stretch of coastline. Perhaps some beach barbecues, or a boat party, or maybe an exciting auction of thoroughbred horses. Yes you heard that last one right. 

The yearly Magic Millions auction sale gives the lie to anyone who thinks the Gold Coast is all about beaches and swimming (as if that was a bad thing anyway!). Starting from 10am each day from 26 May to 20 June, the daily sale arrives on the heels of the recent Blues on Broadbeach festival, meaning residents of apartments in Broadbeach have weeks of back-to-back excitement in store.

Come by and spot the next big star of horse-racing. Dozens of great horses have started their careers at the Magic Millions sale, such as Sebring, Divine Madonna and Scenic Blast. But even if you're not well-versed in the horse-racing scene, the event is a fun-day out for the family. Watch first hand the exciting, fast-paced bidding battle for these thoroughbreds. Remember that at least one yearling from each year's auction is guaranteed to win a $2million race. Who knows, you might get in on the action yourself.
