Queensland Residents Encouraged to Voice Opinions
The Queensland state government has encouraged residents of Brisbane and Gold Coast property to voice their opinions regarding the future of the state.
According to state minister for environment and heritage protection Andrew Powell, residents in the region can submit their thoughts online through the Queensland Plan website.
"The Voices of Queensland provides Queenslanders a visual and interactive way to give their views on where they want their state to be in 30 years' time," said Mr Powell in a July 18 statement.
"By posting video messages, it lets Queenslanders see and hear first-hand what people are passionate about."
The Queensland Plan will help to improve what the state offers to its residents, through community facilities, jobs, education, and landscapes.
Some of the areas in focus will be how to attract and retain the brightest minds, structuring the economy for a prosperous future, and embracing responsibility for healthy and active lifestyles.
This is great news for those looking to secure residential property in the Gold Coast, as it shows that the government is supporting its many residents to provide a great lifestyle and future.
