Queensland to Receive More Development Through Plan
The latest plan announced by Queensland Premier Campbell Newman aims to supercharge the state's economy and deliver a stronger Queensland in the face of growth. The Six Month Action Plan will help to revitalise the region on a national scale.
This could be great news for anyone with residential property in the Gold Coast, or those hoping to buy houses for sale in Broadbeach in the near future, as more development could lead to a stronger economy.
Mr Newman said that recent figures about the economy had indicated that Queensland was outperforming the rest of Australia, which needs to be fostered and encouraged through the improvement of state services.
"Over the past six months we have introduced three new youth boot camps, increased the number of police on the beat, introduced tough laws to combat organised crime and unveiled the Brisbane Underground Bus and Train project," said Mr Newman in a January 16 statement.
Some of the improvements in the plan include a reduction in red and green tape surrounding construction in the state, which will help to streamline the building of homes and other properties across Queensland.
