See the entrants for this year’s Christmas Lights Competition
There's no better way to get into the festive spirit this year than to take a look around your local area at entrants to this year's Christmas Lights Competition.
A total of 48 properties are taking part this year, with 12 of them making their debut this year.
A public vote is being held to determine which house is best, as voters are given access to an SMS voting system for the first time in 2014.
Gold Coast mayor Tom Tate said: "The competition is about bringing some of that famous Christmas spirit to our city and I encourage residents to get involved by SMS voting for the best displays."
You only have until 17 December to choose your favourite, as the winner will be announced and presented with a $500 Coles Myer gift card just five days later.
If you don't feel like driving yourself around the various properties, there will be a nightly bus service running from 18-24 December, which departs from The Arts Centre Gold Coast.
