No school holiday plans? It’s Gold Coast to the rescue

Those living in apartments in Broadbeach have got to thank their lucky stars, kiss their lucky rabbit's feet, caress their lucky horseshoes or maybe just rub their lucky talismans.

While the rest of the country and the world is scrambling to find something with which to entertain their kids during the looming school holidays, residents of the Gold Coast have got it sussed.

There are a variety of events happening on the Gold Coast these winter holidays that are guaranteed to keep your kids occupied.

Check out some of the Gold Coast's community centres, for example. They're putting on a comprehensive school holiday program for kids between 12 and 17. Activities run the gamut from loom bracelet making and soccer to board games and Muay Thai, so no matter what the kids happen to be interested in, they're sure to find it there.

The community centres are located in Upper Coomara, Runaway Bay and Thrower House.

Did we also mention that all of the activities are completely and utterly free? It's public services like this which put residential property on the Gold Coast in such hot demand
