Ride2Work Day offers great opportunity to workers in Broadbeach

The Gold Coast will be contributing to the annual Ride2Work Day in an effort to increase the growing bicycling culture emerging across the state, which could be a great opportunity for residents of Broadbeach real estate. Tomorrow (Wednesday 15th) is the day, with the event being supported by Gold Coast mayor Tom Tate – who said the various environments across the region were perfect for cycling.

"The Gold Coast is a great place to cycle – our scenery is stunning, and our temperate weather means cycling is still a viable transport option even during winter," said Mayor Tate in a 10 October statement.

There are some wonderful prizes up for grabs as well,  including a one-on-one coaching session with Olympic medal winner Sara Carrigan, $150 bicycle voucher and Event Cinema movie passes.

Now could be a great time to dust of your bicycle and get out into the local community with others embracing cycling. This sustainable commuting method is a brilliant way to contribute towards the cleaner, greener lifestyle sweeping the nation while also getting in exercise – becoming fitter and happier in the process!
